Designed for children 2 to 3 years old, this program actively involves parents and caregivers in every class. Using a play-based approach inspired by the Plantando Semillas methodology, children learn through play, exploration, and shared experiences while naturally developing the foundational skills needed for school.
A key feature of the program is empowering parents and caregivers as their children’s first teachers. Families receive practical tools and guidance to support learning at home, strengthening both children’s development and their caregivers’ confidence and skills.
The program also helps children make a smooth, supported transition into Guatemala’s formal education system, preparing them to enter school with greater confidence, security, and readiness.
Children and their caregivers attend two 90-minute in-person sessions each week, complemented by at-home activities and learning resources that reinforce learning and encourage continued growth in the home environment.
