Iniciativa Guatemala (IG) provides comprehensive sexuality education (CSE) directly to students at partner schools located near the Guatemala City landfill. The program is designed to follow the International Technical Guidance on Sexuality Education established by the United Nations and World Health Organization, providing age-appropriate education that progresses each year.

IG currently works with about a dozen partner schools and youth organizations to provide CSE to hundreds of youth living in marginalized communities. The CSE program is also complemented by IG’s youth leadership program and youth-friendly space.
